Elaeagnus ebingii is an evergreen shrub that will take full sun and reasonably heavy shade. Fragrant white flowers from October, with fruits ripening from May. The first berries of the season. Good for exposed coastal situations, as windbreak and shelterbelt planting. A good host for climbing plants such as Hardy Kiwi’s. Approx 2.5m tall and of a similar width.
