Small black shaped tasty fruits are produced at an early age. Their large glossy leaves are also edible and rich in chlorophyll. From personal experience, no more than 6 leaves in one sitting is recommended, otherwise you may experience an accelerated transit time for your food passing through you. Requires a sheltered position. This tree can be stooled each year to produce fewer but bigger leaves.
